Weekly Groups

*** Most of our weekly groups only run through Horbury Academy term time, please call us for any further details***


Games Club - 3pm-4.30pm at Horbury Methodist Church for school years 7 to 9 to to play board games, console games, cards and other table top games. New game ideas always welcome!

Duke of Edinburgh - We run bronze, silver and gold Duke of Edinburgh for participants year 10 or above. Follow the DofE link for more information. Sessions starting 12th October 2020.


Youth Club - 3-4.30pm for school years 7-9 at Horbury Methodist Church. Come and meet new people, socialise and have fun! With a variety of games, crafts, music and activities to get involved in. Want a game of dodge ball? football? or maybe a quieter game of cards or chess? We've got it all!

Senior Youth Club - 5.00-6.30pm at the Horbury Methodist Church for young people in years 10+. Have fun, play games, chat, get advice on education or work and work on your social and team building skills in this relaxed and safe environment.



Online Drop-in - Not able to make it to any of our face to face sessions but still want the chance to chat and socialise? Come along to our online session on Zoom 4-5pm for all ages.

Sports club - 3-4.30pm come on over to Carr Lodge Park to play a range of outdoor games in a fun and relaxed session. Dodgeball, Ultimate Frisbee, Rounders and many more. For people in years 7 to 9, meet at the top of the park near the tennis courts. Weather permitting.

The Junction - Youth Club with a Christian theme running 7-8.30pm for young people in years 7-9. Location still to be confirmed but sessions will begin on 24th September.


Legacy - A small group that plan and run community activities and fundraising events all based on the young people's own ideas. 3-4pm at Horbury Methodist Church for all school years.

Performing Arts - Come along to our Performing Arts group, every Friday at 4-5.30pm at Horbury Methodist Church. Whatever your interests, from singing and acting to costume and set, this is the group for you!! We play games, write scripts and devise theatre pieces together. Please contact us for more details.

Wednesday NYC - Meet every Wednesday at Netherton Village Hall 7.30-9pm. Come and join us for fun activities, computer games, tea & toast and catching up with friends.
